Dr Ali Zuashkiani obtained his PhD in the field of Physical Asset Management (PAM) from the University of Toronto where he is now the director of educational programmes at Center for Maintenance Optimisation and Reliability Engineering. Ali has been working with Banak Inc., Conscious Asset Management consulting, OMDEC, and Aryana Industrial Research Group in providing consulting and training services in the area of PAM to clients in different parts of the world. His areas of specialties include maintenance performance management, optimising Life Cycle Costing, Condition Based Maintenance, optimising preventive maintenance decisions, spare parts management, and use of experts’ knowledge in decision making. He has been the chairman of the International Physical Asset Management Conference since 2005. Ali is the author of “Expert Knowledge Based Reliability Models: Theory and Case Study”.
